Audience Member Terrible Brooklyn noir. One good scene. Able direction throughout, but horrible plot. Reminds me of a bad Uwe Boll flick directed by his Greek friend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The Crimson Mask is an ambitious first feature film by writer-director Elias Plagianos. Considering the film was shot in 21 days on a budget of $200,000 Plagianos has used his resources inventively and stylishly. But when a film's message is so uncertainly presented that there is a need to cram it into the audience's head at the end, that seems a problem. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member If I could go lower, I would. It is like if Sin City and boring had a baby, and then attempted a late abortion from the over consumption of alcohol, while Sin City jumped on boring's stomach. Both failed. This movie tries to be clever, but ends up coming out like a student film. It should never be watched. Unless for torture. Even then, make sure you really hate the person.
