Anton Bitel Little White Lies Crocodile remains a shocking depiction of day-to-day struggles in a dog-eat-dog world. It also comes with one of those hauntingly beautiful endings for which Kim has since become rightly famous. Oct 19, 2012 Full Review BRWC Staff Battle Royale With Cheese Raw in every sense of the word, Crocodile is another fine exponent of Korean cinema. Rated: 4.5/5 Jun 28, 2019 Full Review Hannah-Jane Albone CineVue That it tells a harsh story with such imaginative film techniques and striking symbolism makes Crocodile an interesting, engaging, and ultimately very human film. Jun 28, 2019 Full Review Alistair Harkness Scotsman that film's preoccupation with suicide and the need to find light even in the darkest realms of human existence demonstrates that these have been issues with which Kim has long grappled. Jun 28, 2019 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis HanCinema Kim Ki-duk directs another violent, but meaningful film, as he focuses on his characters and particularly Crocodile, who symbolizes the hopelessness of the world, since, despite all his efforts, he cannot surpass his own nature Jan 6, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This debut of Kim boasts with his signal items and themes, and once again I'm a bit touched by his sense of returing in the end. From sex to love, relationships between men andwomen are subtle Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Schwaches frühes Werk von Kim Ki-Duk Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Whoa. Seriously good flick we got here. Kinda confusing because I saw it with subs that were a couple seconds too fast, but still a really good flick with strong scenes and a very good cast. Kim Ki-Duk's first film, and out of Bad Boy and The Isle, the other two I've seen, this is my fav so far. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Considering it's first Kim Ki Duk's film it gave me a lot more then what I expected. Of course, it's a lot different from his later work (that I watched so far), but I'm only starting to discover early works of Kim Ki Duk. People on the boarder of society, outsiders actually and the raw, uncovered poetics already in his first film announce Kim Ki Duk's later work. The end is absolutely breath taking. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member E' il primo film di Kim Ki-duk. Voti alti comunque Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member ......kotu bir ilk film....
