The main attraction of this flick is beautiful Emily. Not much of an actress, but with a sweet smile she carries what would be a sorry excuse for a teenager movie without her. One can easily skip over most parts of the movie as there is nothing to be missed. A bit of 80ies music makes it a bit more bearable, but nothing beyond that. 3 1/2 of 10 points.

Having grown up in this era i think it was spot on. We lived it. It brought back so many memories of good and bad emotions and experiences. The film itself was well done. Authentic with a twist of needing more. Perhaps be more in depth to the characters. Great cast. Overall a good job. Has great production value. I've watched it a few times and left me wanting more and more.

Pretty average all around. Rich meets poor, tragedy, rich concedes, ad infinitum. This theme goes back to Shakespeare. Maybe it taking place in the 80s captivated some people, but Isee no reason why. With the lead character dressed like a 60s greaser talking about Steve McQueen, I don't know why. The whole film was rather drab and run of the mill: story line, acting, etc. Not worth the time

This is an incedible movie, you don't have to have lived in the 80's to enjjoy it.I was surprised at everything about it, the acting directing and transition of the main character. I wish it had been longer. Everyone loves a good love story.
