Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat Cryptid is the cinematic equivalent of comfort food, with the soothing feel of childhood memories and no nutrition at all. Rated: 6/10 Mar 1, 2023 Full Review Dennis Harvey 48 Hills Enterprising Cryptid has its plusses, though they’re compromised...this movie absolutely does not need to be almost two hours long, with characters stopping to yak even at the lethal climax. It’s worth a look on a slow evening... Feb 13, 2023 Full Review Sharai Bohannon Dread Central This movie cuts off its dynamite at every turn which makes it hard to have a good time as a viewer. It’s also a very long journey for so little reward. Rated: 2/5 Jan 26, 2023 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz A well-crafted movie that served horror, drama, and creature all on the same plate. Super underrated movie tbh Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Jeff B All I will say.....is when is the sequel....enough said I think Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review brad p This movie cuts off its dynamite at every turn which makes it hard to have a good time as a viewer. It's also a very long journey for so little reward. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Chris W It was exactly the fun and mystery I wanted to see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Rodney D If you can imagine a so-called thriller with no jump scares and where every scene - literally every one - is expository, this is the horror flick for you. Maybe after the film, you can pop a brew and sit and talk about it, just like the characters in this movie do. I for one prefer at least a hint of tension arc. Chops to Rego for courage though. Most writers and directors are terrified of the dreaded, boring, and static exposition scene, but Rego dives right in, not with only one, but stringing them together, one after another ad snoozium. He has attempted the impossible, the first all-exposition movie. Does that mean he has succeeded? Not on my ticket. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
