Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat Cryptid is the cinematic equivalent of comfort food, with the soothing feel of childhood memories and no nutrition at all. Rated: 6/10 Mar 1, 2023 Full Review Dennis Harvey 48 Hills Enterprising Cryptid has its plusses, though they’re compromised...this movie absolutely does not need to be almost two hours long, with characters stopping to yak even at the lethal climax. It’s worth a look on a slow evening... Feb 13, 2023 Full Review Sharai Bohannon Dread Central This movie cuts off its dynamite at every turn which makes it hard to have a good time as a viewer. It’s also a very long journey for so little reward. Rated: 2/5 Jan 26, 2023 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz A well-crafted movie that served horror, drama, and creature all on the same plate. Kyle D Garbage waste of a time movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Gaming U Scary, entertaining, great creature design too! Super underrated movie tbh Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Jeff B All I will say.....is when is the sequel....enough said I think Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review brad p This movie cuts off its dynamite at every turn which makes it hard to have a good time as a viewer. It's also a very long journey for so little reward. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Cruz C This movie should be called "Verbal Diarrhea" because it's basically 30 minutes of action weighed down by 70 minutes of the lead characters blabbing about themselves. I've never wanted to know less about characters ever. Oh and the lead character is a complete douche nozzle. Why people WHY?!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Marcus E Nice try, but unfortunately the small budget tanked any chances of this movie being great. It was a very good story, very strong attempt. The plot made sense, but the lack of investment showed, literally. Proper night lighting was the glaring deficiency. Acts 1-2 were very good, but it all fell apart in Act 3. The creature had to be seen in this Act, no more hiding it. No investment in the creature, absolutely none. This movie is a out the creature, so to not invest a dime in that says it all. If they don't increase the budget for part 2, I won't watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
