Audience Member Films from Quebec tend to be pretty hit and miss. This film is pretty decent and does possess a few good laughs but overall is quite forgettable. This film had potential but it falls flat on many levels. One of the film's weakest points is that it's slow, with barely anything happening. The acting is so-so and the plot could have been worked on a bit more. There's really nothing here that's very memorable, but it manages to make you laugh a few times, but it's not one of those films that demands multiple viewings. This comedy tries too hard at being funny, and like the Elvis Gratton films, is not a very accomplished French comedy. The film is decent with some good gags, but you can totally feel a lack of good ideas on-screen. The script feels like it was written with one draft and that was it. There was plenty of potential to make a great comedy, but most of the time, the filmmakers take the easy way out and try to cut corners in delivering the jokes. This film is not as memorable as the Cruising Bar films and like I've said before, Quebec cinema tends to be hit and miss, though this one isn't a miss, it is a decent film that could have been much better. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member J'ai trouvé ce film d'un ennui...
