This mind-pulverisingly bizarre and woodenly acted romdram from Spain is the second of a projected trilogy and a whopping ratings success for Amazon’s Prime Video despite, or because of, the fact that it makes a daytime TV soap look like Ingmar Bergman.

Aside from the scenic visuals, the film doesn’t offer much. Maybe it would’ve worked if it took the Fifty Shades route, but the decision to deliver an undercooked romantic drama is simply unimpressive.

OK, no doubt love this movie and I love the continuation of the series. There’s just something about this movie that doesn’t hit as hard as the first one. I don’t necessarily know what it is, but it was still definitely good watch I just missed the vibes and how I felt watching the first one.
