Utterly boring. A director trying hard to be David Fincher — but falling short. Alice Eve is a charming actress, but she can’t carry the role. The rest of the cast is passable; Banderas is just being Banderas. A forgettable film.

Antonio Banderas isn’t doing too many noteworthy things these days and is slumming it hard in Cult Killer a serial killer thriller from Jon Keeyes. Banderas though barely is in it and instead an uninterested Alice Eve is our heroine looking for a killer. There’s a little twist right at the end but the rest of the film is incredibly mindless and dull.

When one of the main characters is killed off in the first 10 minutes and he only appears in flashbacks to help give the overly predictable ending that you can see coming a mile away....its just wasted potential.
