Richard Brody New Yorker A sumptuous and stirring romantic drama. May 12, 2020 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook Plodding, facile and fails to connect. Rated: 2/4 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator It could have worked, had it ever snapped to life, but it doesn't. It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on. And on. You may even shake your watch to check it is still going. I know I did. Aug 29, 2018 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times The film was an unqualified success. Few movies lasting nearly three hours with quasi-downbeat material please both audiences and critics, yet it remains low on the lists of Pitt’s, Blanchett’s, Fincher’s, and Roth’s most notable efforts. Rated: 4/5 May 12, 2024 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The effect, which isn’t fully grasped until absorbed in its entirety, plays like a moody fairy tale, romantic and magical, with flourishes both elegiac and unusual. Rated: 4/4 Mar 5, 2024 Full Review Cameron Meier MeierMovies.com As [Benjamin] taught us, “I hope you live a life you’re proud of, [and] if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.” Rated: 5/5 Mar 3, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Jonathan O Really remarkable cinema and questions what if we born old and then being young until something happens and the make-up effects looks unbelievable and amaze especially the cinematography and vfx but really phenomenal cast, the writing and directing from David Fincher. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review You Are M OMG - the scene at the end where Kate is holding toddler Brad’s hand and then gives him a kiss - as a dad with toddlers at the time (14 years ago now), never cried so much - such a beautiful beautiful scene. To this day my wife still pays me out when seeing moving scenes saying “did you have a Benjamin Button moment?”. Don’t remember much of the rest of it - but it’s worth 5 stars just for that one scene 💕 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/26/24 Full Review Faiz D The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a wonderful, rich film. Brad Pitt gave a stunning performance. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/24 Full Review Anthony M One of the best movies to have ever been written 💯 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/31/24 Full Review Belize M Such a beautiful and original idea. The narration is outstanding, evoking a nostalgic longing for storytelling methods of the past. Really makes you wish it came back in fashion. Brad Pitt delivers a stunning performance, arguably one of the best of his career, bringing depth and nuance to his character. The film's exploration of time, love, and the human condition is both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. The combination of excellent storytelling, strong performances, and a unique premise makes this film a standout piece of cinema that will continue to captivate audiences for more than the decade it already has. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/15/24 Full Review Gorptholemew T 🍅 6.8/10 the curious case of Benjamin butthole. Yea it’s pretty good, from the direction of David Fincher scores this movie some points, as it looks beautiful. kudos to the make up and effect team because honestly for 2008 this still holds up till this day. If I have to get into some negatives there isn’t a lot for me but some of the execution is good not great but soild and sometimes the exact timeline of things is a little murky. But in the end, this is a pretty solid film interesting an interesting concept. Grade B Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews
