Alec C Who says that you can't live your life backwards instead or forward?! Benjamin Button is born with wrinkles and slowly ages in reverse, but that doesn't stop him from persueing his love interest throughout the years and live a full existence. An insightful story that manages to invoke a sense of mortality onto you, knowing that you'll probably miss out on the most important moments! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review lou l It was just so... slow. I would probably give it 3.5. I love time altering movies and shows so I did enjoy that mind-bending alternate reality aspect of it. I may have given it 4 starts but that is supposedly "awesome" vs. a 3 which is "Meh, it passed the time." I literally sorted pictures in front of the movie and it helped .. pass the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review LolSniper 1 Outstanding cast that delivered a great performance in every way possible. This combined with one of the most interesting and creative plot ideas of the decade resulted in a movie that is a real pleasure to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Luke K shows nothing in life is planned but nothing is by accident. love Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/08/24 Full Review Dani G Maybe not the most iconic or most representative, but maybe the most complete, the best final product overall (in terms of production values and storytelling) from David Fincher's filmography. A great film that is sometimes forgotten. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Iker S Interesting story, great acting and memorable moments. I found the narrative interesting as well. I feel like it's too long though, and losing interest in the middle is not something that I would be too surprise to hear about. Richard Brody New Yorker A sumptuous and stirring romantic drama. May 12, 2020 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook Plodding, facile and fails to connect. Rated: 2/4 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator It could have worked, had it ever snapped to life, but it doesn't. It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on. And on. You may even shake your watch to check it is still going. I know I did. Aug 29, 2018 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The effect, which isn’t fully grasped until absorbed in its entirety, plays like a moody fairy tale, romantic and magical, with flourishes both elegiac and unusual. But perhaps love is inevitable as well. Nov 4, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
