Doucouré made this from a very personal place. The keenest parts explore the push/pull of her Muslim upbringing. Go to Full Review

We need more feminist stories like Cuties that illuminate the constraints girls and women face and help us chart a path to full gender equality. Go to Full Review

In both horrific scenes and adorable ones, what remains consistent is Doucouré's honesty. Go to Full Review

Sometimes uncomfortable and others too radical, Cuties is an eye-opener with an inspired ending, despite the troublesome scenes we witnessed seconds earlier. Go to Full Review

Sometimes I have the feeling that sobriety is absent and the complaint material remains in a repetitive field that only adds questions insignificantly. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Andy C Dec 11 It's up there with the Emoji movie so garbage. See more MJSTYM3 @MAJESTAD18 Dec 7 This is just... Iugh... No kidding! It's supposed to make you uneasy, since it's focusing on one of the most disturbing trends in modern American culture: the sexualization of prepubescent children. It's also clear that many of the negative reviews were written by people who never bothered to actually watch the movie. If they had, they would have found a poignant and powerful argument that the innocence of children must be cherished and protected. See more John Feb 1 I really must say this is definitely a movie I recommend. The girls really did a good job and the cameramen did an equally good job showing the girls perform the way they did! Especially Jess who really has much talent in this area. Now were the camera shots too close? I don't think so I know some would say that they were showing off but I don't see it that way. I guess you really liked this movie or you didn't like it at all See more Read all reviews
