If only the movie followed Paul, ikt could be a great story. Now it looks like some scrapes of this and That. Actors were good, screenplay sadly very bad. To much political black lifes matter etc. If Spike Lee made just a good movie it would reach much more people than this ...

Is it a comedy? A drama? A mess? All of the above. I watched the film and was completely confused about what the plot was so I just reread the Wikipedia summary of the film and now I am more confused than ever. Spike Lee tries to pack so much into his films that they can be hard to follow. (I'm still trying to decide whether Mookie in "Do The Right Thing" started the riot intentionally or saved Sal's life by smashing the window so the crowd would attack the pizzeria instead of Sal.)
