The end result is a messy soup regarding the entity/posession. The writers should have just chosen one narrative and stuck to it, rather than try to come up with a universal spirit/demon theme. The storyline itself is chaotic and confusing. Also, the movie is full of plot holes. This one wasn't as good but it was still serviceable. It didn't scare me and was sort of a standard blueprint/cliche, but it held my interest throughout even with the long run time.
