Some nice scenes, but mostly forgettable comedy. Slightly reminiscent of Nuns On The Run, but worse.

This movie is a farce. It is a romp and a farce and I mean that in a good way, in the same sense as those Italian Peter Sellers movies.
Here's the superficials: Gangsters get set-up on a job and in the mess that follows, have to lay low, so they force their way into a monastery where the head monk resents them, and resents his master's compassion for them. Rivalry, feud and hilarity ensue.
Right after I watched this, I thought, "I'll don't think I'll watch that one again" but y'know, a day later, it was still with me, and two days on, I'd succumbed to its charm. Yeah there's logical holes in the plot, yeah the whole premise is kinda predictable and cliche, but it is a well-done cliche, nicely shot, it has it's moments and it sneaks up on you.
I think I just might see it again.

This was hilarious. Especially the part where they were playing Go Stop. What'd he get? Like a 1000 points or something?! I think you'd have to know Korea pretty well to really get this movie though.
