      In Los Angeles, disadvantaged teens Slammer (Carlos Gomez), Francis (Daniel Quinn) and Amanda (Sally Stewart) view the opulence and glamor of Hollywood with envy. Out of boredom, they engage in petty thievery, hoping for a small taste of a better life. When they discover the world of competitive dance, they sense a possible escape from their mundane existence. Working tirelessly on their choreography, they find a creative outlet for their youthful energy and a forum for their ambition.
