I've never seen such nonsense in my life. It tries hard to be a mix of Escape Room and Saw but it's come out like a horror movie made by Hallmark. A diabolical script with even worse acting.

Based on the old idea of a country house murder game (think Cluedo), this is fast romp through murder and mayhem. A dysfunctional family come together for the birthday of the elderly patriarch. The in-fighting starts immediately and ends in fiendishly bloody ends for almost everyone. Like the board game, there are clues and consequences! It gets a gory in parts so not a movie for young ones, but for the teens and adults, it's satisfying Sunday afternoon / after Sunday lunch movie.

I know we're obviously in the minority here but my wife and I very much enjoyed this. It's kind of a cross between Knives Out and Escape Room with a splash of Saw thrown in. It's not as sharply written, directed or well acted as Knives Out but it's still very watchable and the impressive level of gore is quite well done. Interesting denouement and ending as well. Certainly not to everyone's tastes and it really should be approached as more of a horror than a who dunnit.
