Eszter B Easily the worst film I have ever seen. It is a disgrace what they are teaching the younger generations. There was not a single point of value, an original, authentic idea, the whole film was a cliché based on the unrealistic image that today's generations have of the world and the dating scene. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Emilio D R Es una copia de juegos se seducción pero mal echa y sin la calidad de los actores Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Ginnie W Very good modern adaptation of the classic novel. Very skilled directing, great music and a bunch of fabulous actors. It's teen oriented but adults can enjoy it too and even younger teens. Plus it's set in the idyllic town of Biarritz in the Basque Country of France...gorgeous!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/23/23 Full Review Rebeca M I love this movie! Amy Nicholson New York Times The film’s energy is most colorful in its corners, where minor characters dance in blue mohawks and romp around make-out parties dressed like mermaids and nuns. Rated: C Jul 8, 2022 Full Review John Leonard New York Magazine/Vulture We are left with something much less thrilling-the rage of a woman scorned. Jan 26, 2018 Full Review Jason Flatt But Why Tho? A Geek Community I think that Dangerous Liaisons is a fair enough movie...It’s just that the journey there is fraught and often simply disinteresting given the lack of discernable personalities in most of its characters besides “mean to others,” or worse. Jan 4, 2023 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Looking to piggyback off other recent successes, like Spanish series Elite, this French film lacks the self-awareness that distinguishes a guilty pleasure from a negative portrayal of teens. Rated: 2/5 Jul 13, 2022 Full Review John Serba Decider ... For a story about horrible people, it’s surprisingly toothless, a bland and predictable mush that loses itself in the banal earnestness of its tedious, drawn-out conclusion. Jul 12, 2022 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine The transposition of a classic doesn't necessarily guarantee quality, or that postmodernism may salvage any banality when trying to cover up the narrative and artistic failures behind a cool aesthetic.
