Attorney Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) is blind, but his other four senses function with superhuman sharpness. By day, Murdock represents the downtrodden. At night, he is Daredevil, a masked vigilante, a relentless avenger of justice. Worst of all is the finale, which features a protracted duel with villain Bullseye, utilizing copious amounts of bad CG that cheapens the choreography and any potential for a satisfying demise.

Pretty shallow even for 2000’s standards. The television show blows this movie out of the water so bad, it’s sad. It’s sad because it’s not even a bad movie. Ben Affleck I honestly didn’t despise. I did hate the suit, (hot take) for some reason 2000s comic book movies loved LEATHER. Daredevil suit is leather I will admit, but they barely even dyed it. I would watch again, mainly because I think if I watched again I would find something in the movie that adds detail.

Too much time being back story and not enough focusing on the character. The first fight with Elektra was funny but the actors really didn't look like they were putting much into it. Cinematography was generally too dark (and yes, I get they were playing into the visual aspect, but it still has to stand as a film that the audience can watch and enjoy), but able to be followed, just. Not a total waste of two hours, but hardly a film I'll ever watch again.
