Attorney Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) is blind, but his other four senses function with superhuman sharpness. By day, Murdock represents the downtrodden. At night, he is Daredevil, a masked vigilante, a relentless avenger of justice. Worst of all is the finale, which features a protracted duel with villain Bullseye, utilizing copious amounts of bad CG that cheapens the choreography and any potential for a satisfying demise.

Too much time being back story and not enough focusing on the character. The first fight with Elektra was funny but the actors really didn't look like they were putting much into it. Cinematography was generally too dark (and yes, I get they were playing into the visual aspect, but it still has to stand as a film that the audience can watch and enjoy), but able to be followed, just. Not a total waste of two hours, but hardly a film I'll ever watch again.

Better than pretty much every marvel film since they turned the franchise into a lame teen jokes theme. Ok so it’s still not great, has the thinnest of plots and little to get excited about. At least it has a reasonable origin story and the fight scenes aren’t too long to labour through. In fact the relatively short runtime for a superhero film is a true blessing. Could have been a lot worse. Watched it on DVD.
