Audience Member This film is from Kino Video, Like all Films carried by Kino Video, this is not your run of the mill DVD. This is World Cinema at its best. The movie is in Arabic and French, so you will have to read English Subtitles unless you are gifted with understanding more then one language. Reading the subtitles in no way hinders ones enjoyment of this film. This movie takes place in Chad during the 1970?s, 2 Childhood friends get involved in the revolution. The village they are from is being overrun by government soldiers collection unjust taxes and looting, they have had enough and revolt against the government. I enjoyed Djimi and Koni The most as it show there life?s. You will see life in a Chadian village, making of a hut, work within the tribe., and living conditions. it?s a worth see film, if you can find a Copy get it. Used Copies sell for over $25.00. I can only give this 3 ½ stars it just doesn?t fall into the category of outstanding or Super. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
