For all of the humor and humanity he displays both in his closer as well as the end credits, there’s unfortunately a half-hour full of unnecessary cruelty and juvenile jabs masquerading as jokes to sit through first. Go to Full Review

Clarence R @Romclrnc 5d I am a huge Chappelle fan, I think I’ve watched every show, this wasn’t comedy, it was him preaching and not being funny at all. I am truly disappointed and I hate when great comedians use their platforms for politics and preaching. The world has enough issues and the last thing we need is for comedians who get paid to make you laugh and forget about the bad times. This show was simply terrible. I almost fell asleep. Meanwhile, he’s still hilarious and it’s absolutely worth watching. Is it his best special? No. Is it better than about 90% of what’s out there? Easily. I’m an LGBTQ supporter, so I understand why some people get frustrated but at this point you know exactly what kind of comic he is. He’s been the same guy for decades. If you don’t like that style, the remote has a power button. Use it. Peacefully. Your blood pressure will thank you. As for the Trump crowd clutching pearls over this one… that’s the funniest part of the whole situation. The same people who scream about "free speech" suddenly need a fainting couch (I see you JD Vance) because a comedian told jokes. Hahahahahaha. Grow a spine ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ See more Joseph M @SkriLLo Feb 15 This show was so absolutely amazing. Hilarious and meaningful. I watched it when it came out and have been thinking about it since and watched it a few times. I'm shocked by the backlash of some of these other comments. Perhaps some people just wanted to watch him preach hate and demonize marginalized groups at their expense? It's sad many people this day and age have boiled themselves down to only accept comedy and performance in the form of hate. I can see how this wasn't for those people who thought Dave was just going to bash the trans community and make a mockery of his own people. We lost dave and burr unfortunately... See more Dave B. @Dave-B Feb 11 Antisemite. Lier. Blood libelist. Too bad Dave, Ive watched you for decades. Im done See more Raoul M @Interloper Feb 9 Dave is a gifted storyteller, the Mann act used to stop Jack Johnson and Diddy was brilliant. Loved the ending with Stevie Wonder’s song, Joy inside my pain. This special may not appeal to some but I absolutely loved it. See more Read all reviews
