See more Lucas P @Momov 5h I’m not American so I don’t really care about It’s politics nor can I relate to all their racial problems. So I’m not biased in any way. I respect Chappelle for always having very elaborate and intelligents stories, jokes and punchlines. Always trying to teach something in the process or at least making you think a little bit. Kinda like Louis CK. Having said all this, this special was slow, boring and waaay too sided. This does not change my view that chappelle is one of the greatests. But you cant hit homeruns all the time. Nothing wrong with that See more Jason K @Kitdaddy 15h As someone who thought Dave Chapelles Sticks and Stones was one of the top 3 greatest stand ups in history, this has to come in the bottom 3 for me. Just aimless wandering for an hour with zero punchlines that hit at all. Scrapping the bottom of the barrel about falcons in Saudia Aribia and aimless stories about Jack Johnson for a good 15 min, just a complete and utter disappointment from one of the GOATS. The only reason it has low reviews is because it’s for BLACK people and white people can’t stand the things he talks about. They are all trump lovers and the minute you talk about their king they hate you. Dave is amazing and I love his work.
