Steve D The weak production value sinks it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Audience Member World War II romance between Russian partisan leader, Gregory Peck, and ballerina, Tamara Toumanova, with a terrific final fight as the small band hold off German tanks. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member this practically unseen tourneur must have gotten buried during the cold war. featuring tourneur's biggest budget, immediately after the success of 'cat people', it's gripping and suspenseful, with great characterizations. gregory peck's debut opposite the 'black pearl' of the russian ballet, tamara toumanova, features a bit too much speechifying but it's a wonderful bit of propaganda all the same Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Días de Gloria (Days of Glory, 1944) dir. por Jacques Tourneur. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Rare piece of American cinema praising the Soviet war effort, although the actual story itself isn't anything special and full of cliches in what is Gregory Peck's first outing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member GETS A STAR 4 MARKING THE DEBUT OF MY NAMESAKE, GREGORY PECK THE MOVIE IS A LAME PIECE OF LOOSLY HID PROPROGANDA Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
