David H. @mhamm Jan 3 I was pleasantly surprised by Dead Girl Summer. It’s a lot more atmospheric and tense than your typical weekend thriller. The standout for me was definitely Sydney Hamm. She gives such a layered and believable performance that really elevates the whole movie. She made the stakes feel real rather than just following the tropes.
