Hopefully this direct-to-DVD shot does well enough for the studio to venture out into the afterlife again to make another installment. Go to Full Review

Life After Death is a disappointing continuation and maybe letting go will be for the best rather than let it continue at an inferior level. Go to Full Review

Richard H 03/31/2024 Everything that made Dead Like Me the magical sensitive wonderful show that was is missing. It would have been better had the cast just met in a wafflehouse and recounted the memories they had making the show. That would have been worth watching. This was beyond bad. Kudos to Rube and Daisy for missing this train wreck. See more Amanda G 06/03/2023 1 1/2 stars The television series was fantastic. This was so blah. The personality traits changed. It was as if the whole story changed. See more Keefe D 02/21/2023 The writing was terrible. For example, Mason used to be the screw-up but he had a lot of heart; in this, he had no heart. The re-casting of Daisy Adare didn't work and Rube missing from the film was worse. In it's place, were no-depth characters with no real plot to work with in the film. See more 02/28/2022 Different view of death. Excellent actors! See more 01/10/2020 Talk about going out with a whimper. This straight to DVD film meant to wrap up the beloved series somehow manages to reduce it's supporting cast into extremely, inexplicably base versions of their former selves. Mason becomes fixated on sex and tits. Daisy becomes a bumbling idiot who sacrifices everything for potential fame. Roxy abandons her entire moral compass on a whim. None of it makes any sense for the personalities these characters have been given over two seasons of television. The lack of continuity from the series is coupled with the deeply felt absence of Mandy Patinkin as Rube. The only meaningful performances come from Muth's George and McKillip's Reggie, who both find some closure for their characters despite the absurd plot twist thrown at them. See more 01/04/2020 Good series with a story to tell. But you can tell that the budget was too small. See more Read all reviews
