Audience Member Really poor efforts, everything in it is crap, no wonder it's very very cheap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the best Asylum flicks since 666 The Child and Freakshow and it is a worth a watch Psychological thriller and Horror film at the same time. Dead Line is a great Psychological thriller about a lonely and desolated man name Martin Sanders who receives phone calls from an unknown killer who mainly lives in his apartment and he can hear the unknown man calling most of his victims which are girls who the unknown man kills and as Martin receives more calls he solves the clue of the mysterious killer and as the day goes on Martin is now going to have to search for the killer before he becomes the next victim. Dead Line is a great film and it plays in two parts it starts in the first half as a Horror film then on the next half it plays a s a Psychological thriller and the process is repeated over and over again on the later on parts of the film which is a good idea for an Asylum flick. What's great about Dead Line is that the film has a really dark and psychological feel and the whole movie is full of twists and turns plus the movie has lots of thrills and scares mixed with tension and suspense and I love that idea so far in the film. What I also enjoy about Dead Line is that the film is also atmospheric from start to finish and the entire film seriously feels dark and the whole movie is so atmospheric which I seriously like in the film so far. The other fascinating thing about this movie is that the film is also very psychological and as a psychological thriller the whole movie has a psychological feel from the music to the climax the entire film really feels like a psychological thriller and I like the idea so far with the film. What I also like about Dead Line is that the film also has a really dark style as well and the concept is very dark in this movie which I enjoy a lot in the film. I seriously had fun watching this movie and there are some memorable moments as well with this film the movie is kind of slow paced first at the first half but on the later on half it moves fast as well so it's good for the movie. What I like about this movie is that the film also has a really dark twist and I love the idea of this film and the twist in this film is super scary and creepy because the way the film plays in the Climax tricks your mind in revealing that there are no girls killed in the later on half of the film and everything that Martin saw and heard was all in his head is one of the darkest twist ever made in the film so far. Now the acting in this film is solid all of the performances from the casts is great even the actor who played Martin Sanders is a great guy. And the last thing I enjoyed about Dead Line is that the film also has some great camera work and an incredible psychological soundtrack although the film is shot on a low budget but that's ok. Overall this movie gets a 7/10 because this is one of the best Asylum flicks since 666 The Child and Freakshow. Worth a watch psychological thriller so far. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A horror film that tries really hard, and gets about 2/3 there, then seems to get lazy. A guy keeps getting phone calls from a murderer after he kills whores. The set-up is nice, as is a subplot involving a cop and the guy's girlfriend (although the girlfriend is a wretched actress). The final third seems to have forgotten everything else that has come before it and it breaks it's own logic, which really bothered me, and they did so just for the sake of a cheap scare. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Ultra dreadful piece of crap, not at all worth watching. Cheaply made garbage, totally amateur. Just awful. It's about a recluse who likes to eavesdrop. Awful, awful, awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
