This movie was okay. It kind of felt like it was running on, and on, and on. Interesting ending though. You can use your own judgment whether to see it or not. This is not one of those movies that I would want to see again, if that helps you decide if you want to see it or not.

The movie starts as if to be a good one, climaxing in a shocking murder, after which the story loses its credibility. Not so much a thriller as a series of bizarre developments interspersed with too many "no way anybody would do that" moments.

Brilliantly written, superb acting across the board, great direction and moody cinematography all add up to a great movie experience! This is one of those films where once you've seen it the first time and know the reveal, you want to go back and see it again with your new understanding. Lance Larson and Jas Shelton are a team to watch.

Amazing story about a US Border Patrol Agent who is haunted by never having a father, finding him in the most unusual way, and learning why his father abandoned him before birth. This movie is a both a thriller and a ghost story. This movie blends the genres seamlessly, creating a narrative that is both grounded in reality and tinged with the otherworldly. This balance adds a unique flavor to the film, setting it apart from typical thrillers. The cinematography is beautiful, the acting is top notch. 10/10 would recommend.

There isn’t much to dislike in Deadland. It moves at a smooth pace and doesn’t overstay its welcome. The cast all put in great performances and director Lance Larson shows signs of being a really solid director.

I am still trying to conclusively figure out Deadland’s meaning and how events related to each other, but that is not necessarily a negative element of it. I’m still thinking about what happened, and that, in my opinion, is a hallmark of a good film.
