Prior, is kidnapped off the street of LA so he can be a human target for a mercenary training camp. However, these mercenaries didn't know who they were kidnapping when this ex-Marine goes full-Rambo on them. "Deadly Prey" is standard 80s dreck you'd find in the action section of your neighborhood video store. Also in classic 80s low budget action film tradition, "Deadly Prey" features past-their-prime actors, this time Cameron Mitchell ("The High Chaparral" "How to Marry a Millionaire") and Troy Donahue ("Imitation of Life" "A Summer Place"). Dull and unoriginal, but I suppose is might be worth watching in a so-bad-it's-good way or if you want some cheesy 80s action film comfort food. FUN FACT! All the pacing of the iceberg in titanic and the excitement of discussing the color green. Real snoozeman 5000 if you ask me, per the hit, critically acclaimed podcast burnt popcorn. Will say (spoiler) best seen is the handy beatdown with the henchmans own hand. Only saving gross, the main character is YOKED. Remember the not so clever cop from "Killer Workout"? Remember "Killer Workout"? If you answered "yes" to any or all of those questions, then this is the movie for you! If you're unfamiliar with the comedic masterpiece that is "Killer Workout", but have seen "Commando" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger then this is still a must watch. Mercenaries led by the guy who looks like the Cobra Kai sensei are playing war games where they hunt men and kill them, but they just abducted the wrong man who looks like 90s pop culture icon Fabio. They're gonna find out that he is...The Most Dangerous Game...I mean he is a Hard Target...no no that's not it...he is DEADLY PREY! Violence, terrible acting, and hilarity ensue.
