Audience Member I have watched quite a lot of different types of horror films ranging from those of purely entertaining purposes to intrigue ones. "Death bell" is an acceptable combination of these two criterias, however, it cannot go into a deeper extent and higher quality in terms of plot and underlying message. The movie greatly reflects the real pressure that students in modern world have to suffer from to climb to top of the academic level at school and the dirty tatics in Korean education system. The plot is full of questions for viewers to answer but the gore that it creates is not original enough. In conclusion, it is well organised but unable to satisfy strict viewers who can spot plot holes and plot twists are too late and quite abrupt without adequate hints. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member No inicio pela fotografia não sabia se era filme ou "dorama". a produção era confusa sem um norte. mas mistura bem os elementos de terror asiático. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is just bad. It has stylish direction and an intriguing concept, but does nothing with it. There's no character development, no tension, zero suspense. The students have no chance of actually saving any of the ghost's victims, so there's no real stakes to be had. I can commend that this is the music video director's first shot at a mainstream film, but I did not like it all, due to its whimpering finale and final twist. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member ...sappy, illogical, vague and an insulting rip-off. The film comfortably overlaps everything else to make it fascinating. That's not a mystery thriller quality, it's just simply bad formula. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Gosa started off great....the smartest students in an elite special class are being killed, and tortured, while someone is forcing the other students to solve problems. Great premise. Unfortunately this movie falls apart into a convoluted mess. Others have compared it to Saw...and I have to agree. There are many elements similar to Saw, and add to that some Battle Royale. Too bad, because this had a lot of potential to be great. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Shocking, violent, brilliantly twisted and fucking mind blowing. The story is really creative and thrilling. You will find yourself trembling and your heart racing. You will surely enjoy it! A++ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
