Death Name has visible shortcomings, but in this case, you can hopefully look past that and appreciate the intriguingly unconventional story on full display. Go to Full Review

A very efficient plot with a family curse at the heart of it all, and a well-executed story rooted in heritage and the need to fit in. Definitely a solid production and worth checking out. Go to Full Review

Melissa L @Agent99 1d Quick-moving film that is a little unique. See more Ai S @Ai-Ling 2d I loved this movie! Truthfully, I don't like horror and I don't like K-Dramas. Yet while this film is both, it was crafted so skillfully it felt entirely fresh. The director's talent for blending K-Drama essence with an American college tale was executed perfectly. The storytelling was efficient and the plot moved with great pace. Kevin Woo delivers a wonderful performance, embodying a classic K-Drama heartthrob with his soft eyes and gentle tone, yet he is so convincing that you ultimately end up hating him. I would absolutely recommend this movie to anyone. See more Dennis P @djpark1957 3d I loved the contrast between Korean American and traditional, real Koreans. Haha, but this is not a funny movie. I was emotional connected to this movie from the opening scene to the end. I live with a grandmother with dementia, I had a Jokbo that was lost in the Eaton Fire. Sophie's search for her heritage is powerful and meaningful to a 4th generation Korean like me. The production value is very high. The photography, music, editing and cast created a movie that I watched twice and enjoyed both times. I highly recommend this movie. I noticed every detail and I'd say it leans into mood, which was perfectly captured.  There were moments when I felt a bit more polish to some of the performances would have elevated the story. I watched it with my entire family and have to say we enjoyed it. See more amber i @Ber831 4d I loved this movie. There were times where I yelled at Sophie like she could hear me. I’m a big horror thriller fan and this movie definitely kept my attention. I would absolutely recommend anyone give this a watch if you like horror or thriller movies. See more Read all reviews
