Audience Member I think it was to short and did not give any back story or follow thru on what happen after Malcolm's death. Morgan Freeman give a solid performance. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty dated and boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Rather slow and a bit biased (at least from other accounts I have read) in showing Malcolm as a peaceful man. Freeman is of course Freeman and so he does well but the truth is the movie is a very cheaply made one and it is so slow that even at only 60 min. it seemes 30 min. to long. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A poor quality film that looks at the last days of Malcom X, as played by Morgan Freeman. While there are some points of dialogue to be considered, it plays like a student film and so lacks the type of intensity to make its message emotionally resonant. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I realize that this movie is quite dated now, but the execution (no pun intended) of the movie and the acting is mediocre at best. The life and true story of Malcom X is remarkable and very moving, and with the exception of the newsreel footage, this movie is not. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member wat an insight about the last 24 hrs of Malcom X. really enjpyed it alot and Morgan looked great as Malcolm X (but denzel was better).
