      Audience Member 1974 TVM. Robert Forster plays a rehired cop, brought in the police chief and commissioner to investigate and to break up of group of rogue cops who murder suspects who get off on technicalities in the justice system. OK fare. The acting, including Forster and Claude Akins, is fine. The movie plot needed more fleshing out of the plot (and especially the aftermath, with its abrupt ending) for better reaction. Others in the cast include Michelle Phillips, Melvyn Douglas, Bert Remsen, and Dennis Patrick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Aaron Spelling produced tv movie about cops who deliver vigilante justice on criminals the courts are unable to put behind bars. Pretty good but held back somewhat by the limitations of television. Lead Robert Forster would revisit the vigilate theme with stellar results in "Vigilante" some years later. Spelling/Goldberg TV movie production has a capable cast of veterans, led by Robert Forster. Too many limitations, however, to really excel such as an obvious low budget and a storyline toned down for the small screen.
