Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …Death Sport, despite equally lurid advertising, can’t in all honestly be said to have the wit or vigour of Death Race 2000, but that’s not to say it’s devoid of interest… Rated: 3/5 Oct 18, 2022 Full Review Rob Aldam Backseat Mafia Having said that, it’s entertaining and interesting enough to keep watching, only if it’s to laugh at some of the sequences and atrocious dialogue. Oct 14, 2022 Full Review Sean Axmaker Parallax View It's stilted, cheap and takes itself awfully seriously for such a bad script. Audience Member As much as I like Carradine, Lynch and Jennings, nothing can save this movie. Sound effects were awful, motorcycle chases were lame, script sucked and the final duel at the end was laughable. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member If you want good serious action movealong. If you want campy cheep hilariousness this gonna be your jam. The good guys are on horses and running around with fiberglass swords. They look like poor cavemen. Bad guys are in silver space looking suits and have laser guns. They also get to ride motorcycles. The special effects of this movie will make you giggle as people disappear in a flash of color and the normal sci fi sounds. They also have a good amount of fully nude women being shocked after doing some stripper moves not really furthering the story at all. I guess somehow deathsport is involved but it really only seems to be a reason for them to try and capture the cave people. All and all exactly the type of hilarious shit I love to watch and rate. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member It's so bad but for some reason I couldn't stop watching! The lines are corny as ever, it's a great trip back in movie time though. Had to have a couple glasses of wine to get thru it. I'm sure some will love love the nudity in it which was probably racy for its time. Awesome motorcycles ......not Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Not quite sure how we got from 1975's Death Race to here, but I'm pretty bummed out that we did. If "Deathworld" was ever going to be a real thing, Deathsport made sure we will never see it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Some truly silly action bits aside, the real selling point here for me is the sleazier element of Claudia Jennings getting her kit off, which is both gratuitous and glorious and well worth the price of admission. Well worth a look if you have the chance and want some low-budget sci-fi fun. Rental. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I own this on DVD in a two movie pack along with: * Death Race 2000 (1975) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
