Audience Member 'Dedh Ishqiya' is a film that's way more fun than the original, which loses it all from me whenever I watch it. It's a sharply made black comedy which is Abhishek Chaubey's best Hindi film yet, which benefits from splendid performances especially by Madhuri Dikshit, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi. Huma Qureshi is also compelling. This is above all a thrilling and enchanting world, and you'll easily buy into it. The cinematography, production values and sound recording is excellent (and matches Hollywood standards). For a moment, i felt like i was watching a Hollywood movie. The direction, music and performances (from nearly everyone.. even the hakeem) have taken this movie to an another level. Highly recommended.
