Ygraine Hackett-Cantabrana Moving Pictures Film Club Deep Fear evolves into an intelligent and effective commentary on the way certain toxic ideologies have disguised themselves, being hidden under the thin surface of everyday European society. Rated: 4/5 Jul 15, 2024 Full Review Bee Delores B-Sides & Badlands Deep Fear unravels a deliciously nail-biting yarn. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Paul Lê Tales from the Paulside It’s straightforward horror that neither overstays its welcome nor pretends to be anything but a movie about French folks stuck in the Catacombs with a monster. As simple as that sounds, it’s also refreshing. Rated: 3/5 Jul 23, 2023 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots Sometimes the simplest stories are the ones that prove to be the most horrifying, and this horror film set in the Paris catacombs is as unsettling as they come. Jan 21, 2023 Full Review Drew Tinnin Dread Central Deep Fear chronicles a cool period in the 90s when graffiti artists were making their mark underneath the city streets of Paris. It also has one of the best hip-hop soundtracks in recent memory. Oct 28, 2022 Full Review Tyler Doupe Dread Central Deep Fear is a bit clunky at times. But effective tension building and the subversion of expectations make it worth a watch. Rated: 3/5 Oct 27, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Hugo S Paris, 1991. Three best friends decide to explore the (in)famous city catacombs. Once inside, the group discovers an abandoned German bunker inhabited by a ferocious Nazi zombie. A fight for survival begins between the group and one of the most prolific villains in History. "Deep Fear" takes too long to evolve into something substantial as for most of the time we see the characters wandering the claustrophobic tunnels. A horror movie with an interesting premise but poor execution! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
