See more 12/28/2007 More like a bloody dirge played by a kazoo orchestra, "Defenseless: A Blood Symphony" reprises the boilerplate brutal-female-abuse/brutal-female-revenge scenario of exploitation "classics". Amping-up the ick quotient while adding a thick coat of arty pretentiousness does not improve this. See more 12/02/2007 not as bad as it's critics tend to claim it is, but definitely over-hyped by it's proponents. mark savage deserves credit though for creating a movie that's definitely not like anything else out there, with some of the most brutal scenes i've ever seen.
