One of the great "cult" movies of all time. Doris Weston is outstanding as the innocent teen who morphs overnight into a sultry night club singer, consorting with assorted seedy mobsters, including - unbeknownst to her - her own biological father, who is the scummiest of them all. Don't watch this movie looking for "Reefer Madness" laughs at unintentional comedy. Watch it because it is well written, directed and acted. Progressive Pictures had someone who knew what they were doing.
