Works equally well as a tense, powerful hostage drama and a rousing action film. The Delta Force gets my vote as Chuck Norris' best movie. Go to Full Review

Zach F Nov 30 This is probably one of the best action packed movies I've seen in a while See more CodyZamboni Z Sep 14 I was impressed by the realistic, you are there, terrorism hijack scenes , Movie pushes all the right buttons in these intense hijack moments, Overall, the action is slightly better than average, Lee Marvin is collecting a paycheck, He makes no attempt at a performance, Chuck is good, but relies on his silly motorcycle missles and mortars to do most of the acting for him, Lots of famous faces in supporting roles, Movie is overlong, with terrible rah rah repetitive music from usually reliable Alan Silvestri, His score got annoying real fast, See more Alex F Dec 23 One of if not Chuck Norris’ best action film. See more Andy B 06/28/2024 If my rating for this film was based on how much I laughed during it, it would be a 10. This is an action film with a smattering of recognisable actors, a potentially engaging premise and the gold nugget of being “based on reality”. It is as close to reality as Braveheart is to fact, in that the situation may have existed, but certainly not in the way portrayed on screen. Most of the film is laughably obvious, with recognisable character tropes from disaster movies cropping up instead of actual characters. The only moments where the film shows a shred of intelligence - where the German stewardess begs not to have to pick out the Jewish passengers due to the associations with the Holocaust - is overshadowed by one overblown cliche after another. There are some effective combat scenes, but there is a level of stupidity in the writing that is clearly there just so Chuck Norris can be heroic. The decision to have everyone turn their radios off before an assault is a particularly entertaining one. Surmounted only by one man on a motorbike being deemed sufficient to take out an entire convoy of bad guys. But then, the guy on the motorbike is Chuck Norris, so why was I worried? And then, just as I thought it couldn’t get any lower, the rescued hostages burst into a chorus of America the Beautiful after having been issued cans of Budweiser! Watch with friends and considerable quantities of alcohol. See more Kurt H 02/25/2024 One of the greatest action movies of all time. Must see. See more Michael S @mstrocko 01/25/2024 Big, dumb action flick from that can't get more '80s: Chuck Norris vs. Muslim terrorists. Littered with good actors slumming it for a paycheck as well as some before-they-were-stars roles. See more Read all reviews
