Surprisingly good low budget Aussie horror movie from director Stuart Simpson. Clever camera work and highly stylistic direction and cinematography almost help this rise above its average storyline. A young man moves to the small town of Miranda Falls looking for peace and quiet but one night he wakes up to find demons devouring his cats. Chaos ensues. With the help of pretty convenience store clerk Kylie he sets out to destroy them. Comparisons to early Peter Jackson are inevitable. Gore fans will have a great time with the gloopy visuals presented here. Casual film fans won't be interested, and people who are only mainstream horror fans may not get it, but compared to the glut of other digitally sot low budget horror films going straight to DVD this rates as one the better ones.
I'm looking forward to whatever Simpson comes up with in the future.

Wasnt bad for low budget film although it appears they have uses 99% of the budget on make up which was the best part of this film.

As low budget as it gets. I usually hate movies that are this low budget (where the actors are friend sand it's shot on video) but this one was ok... still not great.
