Audience Member This film really made me miss going to shows in NYC. This couple, Dennis and Lois, are in their 70s and go to rock shows non-stop, not only in NYC, but they travel all over the world to see their favorite bands. I'm sure you've seen them around. Have you? The first couple of times I saw them I assumed they were some band member's parents, which is apparently a frequent occurrence. Eventually I realized that they were just a strange pair that loved going to rock shows. I was a little curious about what their deal was, and now I know, but I still have a few more questions, mainly "how are they paying for all of this?" Either way, they are a sweet and odd couple from Brooklyn that met at a show, befriended the Ramones, sold their merch and have been making friends with bands for years and selling a lot of merch along the way. The Happy Mondays even named a song after them - they're extra in love with all things Manchester. They are also mega collectors of stuff….their home is a collectors paradise leaning slightly towards hoarding. It was a little bittersweet as their health is declining, and the lingering Q in my mind, was who is going to deal with all this stuff when they can't anymore. Either way, it was cute and well done and a nice homage to this duo and a nice view into our futures as 70year olds attending rock shows 😎 I am just not sure they truly warrant a feature length doc. I'll give it a 6.5/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
