      g j Lurid, menacing, confronting and strangely beautiful. Der Fan is a lot of things at once, but feels very ahead of its time. The sound track and cinematography are exceptional. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/22/23 Full Review Desmond B Der Fan is an engrossing and fascinating study of love, not in its sentimental, romantic form, but as possession, greed, rage and cannibalism.
