It's too bad because I like horror and suspense films a lot. "Deranged", however, is one of the worst. It lacks everything: A compelling story, characters worth cheering for, believable dialogue, decent acting, and any kind of suspense whatsoever. Four friends head off for a vacation at a lovely country home. I don't know why I call them friends since they all seem to hate each other. One of them is bitten by the dog outside and gets sick and dies. Then it looks as though a stalker is following them to make the body count rise. It is very predictable and the lead actress is awful.
