07/31/2014 Crazy story about friends See more 04/09/2014 At the core, this film is merely more bottom of the barrel Redbox garbage, but this one has just enough dark and bizarre humor to keep things interesting. It's too bad because I like horror and suspense films a lot. "Deranged", however, is one of the worst. It lacks everything: A compelling story, characters worth cheering for, believable dialogue, decent acting, and any kind of suspense whatsoever. Four friends head off for a vacation at a lovely country home. I don't know why I call them friends since they all seem to hate each other. One of them is bitten by the dog outside and gets sick and dies. Then it looks as though a stalker is following them to make the body count rise. It is very predictable and the lead actress is awful.
