Mexican folk horror has more to offer than we think! Touching on brujería in a very tangible way, the director Luis Javier Henaine takes some big brave swings and ends up, in my opinion, knocking it out of the park. This was a quiet gem I'm happy to have come across, and a director I intend to follow.

Disappear Completely is certainly an intriguing and disturbing film. I don't rate it as being particularly horrific or chilling, and I certainly can't recommend it as a horror film. If you are after something a bit different and don't mind subtitles, you may get something out of this. That said, there are plenty better horror movies out there.

Recomendada, excelente desarrollo de la historia, como siempre el cine mexicano siendo crudo y excepcional. Me hubiera gustado ver un poco más del trasfondo de cómo se llevó a cabo el ritual para el político, o ver qué pasó después de perder por completo los sentidos y no solo dejarlo a la expectativa de saber que debió tener el mismo destino que el político.
