There are some intriguing elements to this script, but the film is ultimately undermined by heavy-handed directing, camera work, and music. Go to Full Review

...there's no tension, suspense, fantasy, or sensuality here. It's a sensationalist, ephemeral, and quickly forgettable film. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

As usual, the salacious premise spends a while trying to pretend it’s raunchier than it is, excusing some extended but chastely shot sex scenes, and then in the third act everything goes a bit laughably bonkers. Go to Full Review

...the plot is in the title, and yet there's also the whole crime and murder aspect of it. I suppose that part works okay, ultimately, but I did not like any of the characters. They are, in a word, unlikable. Now, for someone like... Go to Full Review

Horror fan 4 @Horrorfan4life 2d I love a good erotic thriller but this lacked the passion and chemistry between the parties who were wanting attention. The sex scenes showed no emotions or excitement especially when it comes to cheating. No ripping off clothes nothing. A lack of nudity and no suspense is what sucked the life out of this movie. Tim Treakle See more Cynthia G @RT24355390 Jul 21 I expected more being it was a Casas brother. Kind of boring. See more Harish N @harish_napa Jul 21 The 2026 Mexican psychological thriller is a mediocre, below average endeavor that completely struggles to find a cohesive balance between its steamy romance and central drama. It focuses on a wealthy lawyer embarking on a risky affair with a younger swimming coach, proving that a chaotic forbidden love triangle can quickly fall apart when the story relies entirely on recycled cliches, unlikable characters, and forced situational conflict. Ludwika Paleta is solid as Lucero, delivering a committed performance with a sharp screen presence that tries hard to ground the chaos. She captures the unpolished obsession and growing paranoia of her character with genuine charm. While the sleek visual style and polished production design give the film a visually grounded appearance, the jarring pacing and weak character motivation make it a chore to sit through. It stands as a weak one time watch that fails to deliver a satisfying narrative payoff. I found that the characters lack development. Perhaps the only somewhat interesting one is the brother, Julián. The plot lacks interesting or intriguing scenes. Instead, it is filled with provocative, banal, and monotonous moments. Maybe the only part of the film that I liked is the ending, which I didn’t find trivial but rather somewhat original. What I especially appreciated is that it avoids the typical ending of movies with this kind of plot. In fact, it ends almost without a real conclusion, leaving the audience holding their breath. Rating: 2/5 See more Recruit M @RT21188464 Jul 20 This had all the makings of a great movie, however the actors didnt portray the storyline well. The ending was too abrupt, the movie lacked a lot of depth and the sex scenes were just awful See more Read all reviews
