Zain N I feel like this movie is being played at .75x and written by the first version of ChatGPT. The CGI and set design are brilliant. The acting is so painfully bad, these people genuinely feel like robots - there is nothing real about any of it. I don't really blame the actors because it's really the writing that is the issue. They just end up sounding like husks, like they have no soul. It's such a mind-boggling contrast to the production value, everything looks pretty good, the movie LOOKS good, which it makes it feel so trippy that the writing is so piss poor. The concept is neat.. kinda, but in what special mission would the crews discovery be actively broadcasted to everyone on Earth, it's so unbelievable that this mission would not be some top secret special access program. Also this ship is giant, it's like the size of the moon, why are there only 6 crew members. The ship is so damn big it has an elevator in it that travels for a minute in one of the scenes, like...? I wish I could at least tell you it's funny bad, but it's not even that. I feel so bad for the cinematographer and CG team, they did such a good job. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/10/24 Full Review Auden I It feels like this movie was written by ChatGPT most boring, bland, and just garbage acting for over an hour, complete waste of time The CGI and set design are the only good things about this movie The script and acting is just, god awful, would NEVER watch this again Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Joel G A twisty concept that ends up nowhere. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Anonymous A very Scy-Fy channel feeling movie and not in the good fun way. Very cheesy but taken seriously. Claudia Black plays the main character and within 5 minutes of screen time, asks an AI what it's favorite sexual position is. That pretty much sums up what you're in for in terms of the writing. The concept is very interesting and could've made a great film but this falls flat and will make you roll your eyes more than once. The acting ranges from passable to decent. You can tell the cast just doesn't care and is just working with what they were given. It's the script that really kills this one. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Elaine B The acting was good but the plot was subpar. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was alright. At least the twist was good. But man there is def a need to break this 50 year old formula of crew-goes-into-space-not-knowing-what-they're-in-for-the company-has planned-an-entirely-different-mission- that's-uber-dangerous - etc etc etc Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
