It's not especially well-constructed, but "Devil Times Five" isn't hard to digest, which is something of a cinematic miracle when considering the production era and the unsavory details of the story.

Quite the possibly the best Los Angeles Strange movie of the 1970s. An efficient group of murderous children terrorize an assortment of nouveau riche partygoers near Big Bear Lake. Not to be missed is Leif Garrett flirting with Sorrell Brooke, then preening in heavy makeup and a Cleopatra wig. This film has continuity issues aplenty, to the point where one begins to wonder if they are intentional.

1974: Five psychotic children escape a bus crash and take refuge to a house up in the snow-filled hills. The occupants of the house all seem to have some issues of their own. The kids put all the stops to make sure they can leave, while they systematically murder each adult, one by one. Tt times this movie feels amateurish, but at other times this feels like an unusual, inspired slasher pic. The acting is all over the map. Worth a look. Stars: Gene Evans, Sorrell Booke, Shelley Morrison, Taylor Lacher, and Leif Garrett.

The date below is wrong. This came out in 1974. No rhyme or reason as to why everyone is the way they are or why pr how the kids became fun little killing machines. Apparently, they planned on a series as the ending just says "The Beginning."

This is a movie that needs a remake! Creepy atmosphere with kids silently killing the grown ups one by one. I thought it was very chilling and can ignore some of the dated material but what you get a a load of horror fun!!
