Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid It's ridiculous, of course, but the film seems aware of this fact and runs with it. Apr 6, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

kevin c Two dudes with a suitcase full of Spanish Fly head to a strip club to test their product. Unfortunately all they get is a strip club filled with vampires. Now they, and a few others must fight for their lives to survive. Devon Sawa, Kelly Hu and Ken Foree star in this one. Not a terrible movie, but it's no From Dusk til Dawn. Makeup effects are decent, and story is okay, but the dialogue is pretty horrendous. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good fun given the incredibly limited resources Devil's Den has to work with. But you have to watch it through that incredibly narrow, generous lens, or else the fact that it's really bad might start to get to you. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The story and the monster isn't too bad, but the dialogue is just terrible. Just wish they can shut up and continue with the movie rather than the small talk! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member It was a copy of From Dusk Till Dawn the only difference is that the creatures are not vampires in this film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I am not quite sure why you would decide to make a complete rip-off of From Dusk Till Dawn about ten years later, but that is what The Devil's Den is. Plus, any film that features "Spanish Fly" as a plot point is destined to be crappy. Still, I watched it. Why? I don't know precisely. Besides featuring horror legend Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead), The Devil's Den has little to offer besides some lame strip club scenes in the beginning and some even lamer battles with the undead that drag on way too long despite the film only being 84 minutes long. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review dave j Thursday, December 22, 2011 (2006) Devil's Den HORROR/ COMEDY Conventional lower budget version of "From Dusk Til Dawn" clone which the two are almost identical! Starring Devon Sawa, Kelly Hu and Ken Foree go to strip club down in Mexico, only to confront a bunch of ghouls. The film starts off as a gorefest to a simple minded comedy toward the end, especially the final dual between Hu and the queen of ghouls who for some reason doesn't even call out her ghoul cohorts. Inconsistently convenient and conventional which the director of this film and the producer may have collided! 2 out of 4 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
