Audience Member It's not quite the Grindhouse throwback I'd come to expect from the poster and the cast involved, and it's not nearly as funny as it probably should be, but it's an entertaining enough ghost flick that follows most of the tropes you'd expect. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/19 Full Review Audience Member Two terminal patients staying at a hospital participating in a group trial of an experimental drug develop a relationship. The side-effects of the drug include hallucinations, so the patients have difficulty differentiating between reality and trips. A lesbian Nurse Ratched-type is the main adversary. A New Zealand film, this features Jemaine Clement, Rhys Darby, and Bret McKenzie in small parts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Diagnosis Death is an interesting horror comedy. In fact, I'm not sure whether it knew if it wanted to be more comedy or horror as neither is done very well but both are at least adequate. What the film is, is an interesting who dun it that throws in a little humour and fear to keep the audience interested as the entire film takes place in one very small location. Diagnosis Death isn't something I'd recommend but if you are one of those who has seen most everything mainstream (like myself) it's a nice side journey that's a little different. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member There was some thoughtful dialogue, and the relationship between the main characters was sweet. Otherwise, it was mostly weird. I thought it'd be funny and entertaining with Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie in the cast, but mostly it was slow with little humor at all. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member 'Diagnosis Drivel' more like!! Was dead impressed with a couple of the one liners and disturbed by the thought of masturbating with a Tickle Me Elmo though. I give it props for the sheer wrongness of that!
