MovieGuy 2 I just sat through this film and I… I have no idea how to explain this movie other than to say this is literally not only one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life, but also one of the most boring horror films I’ve ever seen in my life, reaching Night of Horror levels of boring. But what really signified this movie as one of the worst films I’ve ever seen is the one shot of the guy’s headless body. In one of the shots, you can actually see the black box that’s digitally painted over the headless body, while the background is clearly a different color. No, I’m dead serious, that’s a real special effect. I literally went “WTF is that” when I saw it. It’s up there with Night of Horror for being the worst horror film I’ve ever watched in my entire life. The acting sucks, the pacing sucks, the effects suck, especially that one shot with the black box painted over the headless body, the audio mix is horrendous, the editing is atrocious, as it’s just a series of repeated footage, the 1 million fade transitions (at least it feels that way), and just a bunch of flashbacks. The plot is thoughtless, the characters are impossible to connect with or care about, the editing is total crap, and the film goes back and forth between color, black and white and that "old film" effect you get in Windows Movie Maker. It's hard to comprehend any of it, considering the fact that it goes from flashback, to story, to present, with no way to follow the already in shambles plot, not to mention the acting is dreadful and uninspired. No matter what it tries to do, it fails at it. Romance? Horror? Documentary? it doesn't work as anything. Not even as an ironic joke, whereas bad films such as 'Batman and Robin' are still bad enough to be funny. This is so bad it can't even do that. Bottom line, don't watch it. Ulli Lommel's Cannibal is the worst movie I've ever seen.
