I'll admit that I kind of "half-watched" this one. There isn't anything super special about The Last Straw but it isn't horrible either. Greg is still unlikable, the animation is just like the books and the plot is exactly what you would expect. This is a quintessential 2.5 star animated movie. Best Character: Frank Best Scene: Mowing the Snow Best Piece of Score: "Not Wired the Same Way"

The animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies are harmless fun. If you enjoy the novels you'll enjoy these too. The Last Straw is pretty much more of the same. It has a simple but sweet story and never overstays its welcome.
