This is Spade's third attempt at leading-man status, and I will admit it is his best lead role to date. But when your other two films were Joe Dirt and Lost and Found, it's not like the bar was raised very high. Go to Full Review

Sorry to say, but it's hard to imagine too much that's worse than sitting through this uneven, contrived big screen version of People magazine's "Where Are They Now?" column. Go to Full Review

Stephen C @bob25009 Jun 30 Funny in 1 hour and 39 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated PG-13 for Drug References, Crude Humor, Language and Sex-Related Humor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See more Blu B Mar 19 It's barely 90 minutes but it feels like it hits it's climax at a little before the hour mark and it just drags with pointless dumb antics. Editing and pacing aren't good and everything else is ok. Spade is alright and everyone else has energy and some chemistry but the gags are too inconsistent. Some are funny, and clever with occasional good dialouge, and than most of the time it's so flat and dumb. It's harmless stuff though. It reminds of something like Sullivan's Travels if you removed the underlying social commentary and messaging. You'd get something like this. Once he arrives at the new family stuff just happens. Pointless stuff and subplots that go nowhere. The music also is just generic stuff or 70's tracks which don't fit despite being catchy. Skip This. I can see this kind of working if it was more consistent with humor and a much sharper script. See more Kevin P Jan 26 An amusing crazy premise that’s a pure time capsule of raunchy early 2000’s comedies with all the good and bad that comes with it. The slapstick is weak, but the witty banter is better than I expected and there’s a decent character arc about post child stardom despite its cliché storytelling conventions of the era that had already been done to death by then. The chemistry between David Spade and the family is also better than I was anticipating. It’s some dumb fun and a new guilty pleasure of mine if you know what you’re in for. See more Jan 3 Way too much saying Gods name in vain, just another movie I’m glad I never bought!! See more Ed R @JustcallmeER 10/07/2024 Rough comedy to watch. Not the worst movie to watch but they tried to a force a good story. See more Ivan Z 02/14/2024 This is the worst film I've ever seen. It's cringe and seriously not funny. Also what's a man doing hanging out with a little girl and a boy? That was just weird. See more Read all reviews
