This is a bittersweet coming-of-age story that manages to transcend the expected anime battles and action. Go to Full Review

A good twilight thriller... in which the titular monsters stand out, as endearing and tragic as stuffed animals rescued from the bottom of a drawer. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

No matter what the Digimon writers come up with in the future, Last Evolution Kizuna really feels like a satisfying goodbye. The animation is stellar, the music is good, and the story is solid. Go to Full Review

Nathan F 12/11/2024 I was a fan of this series in the early 2000's and watching reruns. I am now 26 and just was recommended to give this a watch. I was blown away with the sheer care and tenderness that made Digimon a great series overall. The scenes not only are beautifully animated, but as time passed they showed, not only have the characters grown up, we have as well, when seeing Matt and Tai drinking beer, going through life with career opportunities, it was something that everyone can relate to. Not everyone can go back and change their childhood, but this movie gives proper closure to not only our childhood, but a part of it we still cherish, and remember fondly.
