Sedale S. @sedale143 6d Such a time capsule. So curious how this would have been made today. Beautiful animation and action especially with my fave Digimon Omnimon (go ahead and call me a casual). Digimon: The Movie kept the meat of this story, but little things like forwarding emails instead of redirecting emails in a crucial scene makes such a big difference in narrative. I loved the Japanese version, but with the English dub it just feels like something is missing. The cast just doesn’t sound as juiced as in the Americanized version, might be a bi-product of recording in the same room vs everything being remote now. Of the 3 parts that make Digimon: The Movie, this is the only one I’d probably revisit regularly. There’s basically nothing to not love here.
