Critics Consensus

This low-key comedy about memory loss offers mild pleasures but is too bland to fully resonate.

Audience Member "Diminished Capacity" has a more clever plot than the average rom-com, but somehow manages to become an average rom-com nevertheless. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprise indi film with a fab cast. Broderick, Alda, and rest were awesome along with the lovely Virgina Madsen. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I stumbled upon this on Netflix and had never heard of it, but figured I'd give it a shot. I thought it was pretty enjoyable, and am glad I did. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing noteworthy in this movie except maybe Alan Alda performance.I'd say skip it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved that this film was about baseball and baseball cards; unfortunately the few funny moments were overshadowed by a quirky and dry storyline. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Adequate, but not much more. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
